A Call for Reparations by the
National Black Evangelical Association (NBEA)
by Dr. Anne C. Bailey

In the spirit of the late Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King and his non-violent movement, the NBEA is calling for Reparations for people of African descent.  We imagine a country and a world built on what Dr. King called “agape love” – defined as the highest form of love and charity, a self-sacrificing, unconditional love. Such a radical love for one another and radical appreciation of our interdependence ultimately calls us to correct the wrongs of the past.

We are an umbrella association that identifies, calls together, unites in prayer, fellowship, and evangelism, and empowers leaders for Jesus Christ.

Activist Black Believers collaborate with integrity
By Rev. Dr. McCray, President of NBEA

A recent title from Dr. McCray is “Unity in Diversity Without Enforced Conformity.” This Biblical guide helps Black Christians to work together for the benefit of their community while staying true to Christ and their African-descended identity. Purchase your copy here.

Missions Spotlight

NBEA supports missions! Here is one of them:

Hope For the Future
Uganda, East Africa

Hope for the Future: Uganda, East Africa addresses the educational needs of children, children welfare, the violation of children human rights, and youth empowerment through technical/life skills training. It also provides affordable training in leadership skills, Bible and Theology, Outreach, and Ministry skills for pastors and church leaders.

In order to meet our operating budget, we are requesting 50 donors to give $25.00 a week, $100.00 a month, $300.00 a quarter, or $1200.00 a year. Any and all amounts are appreciated.

We thank you for your support to the mission work in Uganda, East Africa. May God continually bless you and your ministry as you continue to serve Him through your prayers and sacrifice.
