Continue to Stand Up For Christ

Dear Brothers and Sisters of NBEA:

You have not heard much from us since our 2017 Chicago Convention. The primary reason has been lack of financial resources. Simply put, after subsidizing at least 4 annual meetings, we decided to focus on taking care of our organization’s debt before resuming our conventions. During this time, we have designed a strategic plan, and we have hosted several important conference calls related to a Black evangelical response to “Trumpism.” An important chart was developed called “Trumpism” Opposed by Evangelical Black Values.  You may want to share it with your friends and colleagues.  It is located on the NBEA website.  Weekly we continue to pray and intercede for our people and our nation.

First, we want to say “Thank you!” for your past and continued support and fellowship with NBEA. Without your prayers, gifts, and moral support, our journey would have been much more difficult. You have helped us to be faithful to our God.

The year 2019 looks promising for us. Our goals: we intend 1) to  roll out our strategic plan, 2) to continue our conference calls on relevant subjects, 3) to strengthen our office operations, and 4) to minister directly to young adults. When the Lord provides the funds (and we believe He will), we will announce the details for our next convention.

Please join with us and like-minded believers to help us reach our goals to advance the work of our Savior. The African-descended and prophetic voice of NBEA is sorely needed at this hour in our nation’s history. In the present political and social climate, many white Evangelicals have forsaken their core theological and moral values. Certified Black evangelicals must continue to stand up for Christ. You can help today by giving online at www.The-NBEA.com, or by sending NBEA a check to P.O. Box 4311, Chicago, IL 60680.

Thank you again for demonstrating your love and support for God’s work through NBEA.  Please give today. We bless you in the Name of Jesus Christ, our Lord!

Peace!
Rev. Dr. Walter Arthur McCray, President
